DIAMOND DORIS - Prof. Mary Doris Keegan - Geologist - She works for the Heller South Eastern Geological Studies Group out of Daytona, Florida.
She is one of the leading experts of Shoreline Erosion to landmasses. After exposure to a strange meteor in 1953, she gained the ability to be invulnerable or if she so chooses Invincible.
Taking up a costumed identity inspired by the Mystery Men the decade before her, she became the first outwardly known super powered American Super Heroine working primarily out of New York.
She was part of the ‘Unstoppable Duo’ of ‘Diamond Doris and Minotaur’ in New York, She is a former member of the tragic Argonauts and has a son named Scott, now using the disguise of a red costumed Mister Steel, His father is her former partner and member of the Argonauts, Minotaur or Roger Paxton, who Mary is presently in a renewed and different sort of relationship with.
Though she is much older than most of the present heroes of the day, Exposure to the meteor that had given her the powers she uses, seemed to rejuvenate her, as well as Minotaur and her Aging Father.
She has no love for the Department of Meta Human Affairs or its Liberty Agents.
She has just recently agreed to help the newly ‘Reformed Argonauts’
Mary is about to find out that Scott was not her only child… it seems Scott had a twin who was stolen. He is the young Liberty Agent named Speed Demon or Ben Forrest. This news will not make her happy.
But she is about to discover… there is much more to it than simply the fact that one of her children was stolen from her…
