The public outcry was stronger than ever before. Without Captain Solar’s charismatic personality to protect them, The Argonauts were forced by the United States to disband.

This happened on the eve of the passing of the creation of the Meta human ‘Registry’ run by the newly created Department of Meta Human Affairs.

The entire ordeal was organized by a very vocal opponent of masked super humans… Reginald (Reggie) Carter, a 62 year old eccentric from Virginia who has been a vigilante-basher since even the glory days of The Argonauts.

Similarly, In most countries, individual heroes were given the option to either work for their countries or retire. Most opted to retire.

Today, the governments of the world have put a tight grip on superhuman development. Any child or person suspected of having super-powers of any kind are immediately registered by the government and their abilities are examined by specialists located at whichever Alpha Labs is closest to their location.

This is created an ‘Anti-Registry’ Group called ‘the Underground’ a collection of ‘On-the-run’ super humans and in most cases their families.

Most who discover they have powers attempt to hide it rather than risk spending the rest of their lives locked in the virtual ‘Probation‘ of the Department of Meta Human Affairs‘ ‘Registry‘.
